About us: One team for all start-up ideas

The BPW is Germany's largest regional start-up initiative. It is organised as a cross-state initiative jointly by Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) and Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB). The BPW's achievements are possible thanks to the support of our sponsors, who actively support us with financial resources, know-how and personal commitment. Our initiative is supported by the universities in Berlin and Brandenburg

This has the advantage that the Business Plan Competition can draw on an enormous network of experts and partnerships in the fields of business start-up and development.

With this network and knowledge, the BPW supports founders in Berlin and Brandenburg in the creation of sustainable business plans and canvas concepts. At the same time, the initiative strengthens the start-up dynamics in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

The Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition is jointly supported by the Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises of the State of Berlin and the Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of the State of Brandenburg. In Brandenburg, the project is additionally supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
