2nd award of the BPW 2024

It's going to be exciting on 24 April! Together with Berliner Sparkasse, our host, we are organising our second BPW 2024 award ceremony.

The BPW award ceremony will take place in the place where techno dancers usually swing their legs: Ritter Butzke in Berlin-Kreuzberg. We will use the magical club atmosphere, which is usually buzzing with night owls, to present your innovative ideas, exciting pitches and for the thrill of the second award ceremony.

Because out of 166 competition entries in the second BPW phase, ten teams have made it to the second final. We are excited to see which concepts have convinced - and will convince, because after the opening words of the host Nancy Plaßmann, member of the board of Berliner Sparkasse, it's time to pitch: for 90 seconds, each top 10 team has the full attention of all guests and can present their idea live on stage. Then you - our audience - vote and decide who will take home the coveted Audience Award.

The award will be presented by Berlin's Senator for Economics Franziska Giffey and Carsten Schöning, Head of Department at the Brandenburg Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy. The two business experts will also share their insights for founders, as the start-up scene in Berlin and Brandenburg and the range of services for start-ups, founders and SMEs are constantly growing.

In hopefully spring-like temperatures, we will move the get-together to the beautiful courtyard after the awards ceremony and open the barbecue season together with you. If it does rain - we are prepared.
